We warmly welcome David Howse, Executive Director of ArtsEmerson and a leader in the world of performing arts, as he leads us in conversation about the power of theater to move and inspire us. Joining David will be Kevin Becerra, associate producer of Detroit Red. David and Kevin will discuss their work on the February 2020 premiere of Will Powers’ innovative play.  Detroit Red is a brutally honest, human portrayal of the young Malcolm X as he navigated street life and the criminal underworld of 1940s Boston.
