MIT Humanist Chaplain Greg Epstein has invited journalist and author Madeline Ostrander to campus for a discussion on her most recent book At Home on an Unruly Planet: Finding Refuge on a Changed Earth, and a mini writers workshop.

Ostrander's reporting has mainly focused on climate, energy, and environmental justice. She has had work published in The Nation, Sierra Magazine, Audubon Magazine, Slate, PBS NOVA Next, Seattle Met Magazine, Undark, Hakai, High Country News, and numerous other outlets.
