Designing Your Career Around Your Values

Are you searching for inspiration to pursue a career aligned with your values and passions? Do you worry about being stuck in a path that's not right for you? In collaboration with MIT Radius and CAPD Infinite Careers, join this event to hear about two panelists’ non-traditional career paths and learn how they made decisions, pivots, and transitions in their careers. 
 
Panelists include: 
 
Shane Liesegang is a Jesuit Theologian studying at the Boston College School of Theology and Ministry. Shane also consults on video game development and does occasional software projects as a creative outlet. Shane spent over a decade as a game developer and writer, working at Sony Santa Monica, Bethesda Game Studios, Electronic Arts Los Angeles, and Walt Disney Imagineering. Learn more about Shane
 
Olivia Huang is an architect at Goody Clancy in Boston where she practices reusing buildings and materials to reduce the industry's contribution to climate change. In addition to working on existing building renovations from design through construction, Olivia helped research data for the Carbon Avoided: Retrofit Estimator (CARE) Tool and is a current volunteer with Communities for Restorative Justice. She earned her Master of Architecture from MIT and Bachelors of Arts in Architecture from Princeton University. Learn more about Olivia
