Join us for an evening of thoughtful theater at the Central Square Theater’s production of Paradise. Yasmeen, a Muslim-American teenager in the Bronx, meets with her teacher Dr. Royston, a mysterious scientist forced to teach high school biology. If she salvages her perfect score, she can claim her independence and pursue her passion for science while honoring her cultural traditions. The play also focuses on the difficulties of academia and what it means to break into the world of science.
MIT students are welcomed as our guests! If space permits, other members of the MIT community may also be our guests.
A Catalyst Collaborative@MIT production.
