Radius Goes to the Theater

Join us for an evening at the theater on Friday, March 6, 2015.  The Nora Theater is presenting Grounded, a riveting play about a hot-shot fighter pilot's careeer that takes an unexpected turn, ending in a court martial.  Named a Top 10 Play of 2013 by The Guardian and the London Evening Standard, Grounded was nominated for the Amnesty International Freedom of Expression Award.

Following the play, Radius will host a post-performance discussion with actress, Celeste Oliva, and moderator, Jason Ryan. Ms. Oliva was recently seen in Rich Girl, Becky's New Car, and Ch'ing-lish (IRNE award-winner for best actress/small theater). She can also be seen in America's longest continuous running play, Shear Madness.  Boston Magazine voted her Best Actress 2013.  Jason Ryan is a Humans and Autonomy Engineer at Aurora Flight Sciences in Kendall Square. He earned his Master's in Aeronautics and Astronautics and his PhD in Engineering Systems, both from MIT. His research focuses on the human factors issues of unmanned vehicles, integration of unmanned vehicles in practice, and unmanned systems safety. The first 30 students to RSVP will be our guest!

Listen to a fascinating radio program about the production.
