Cultural Transformation for Planetary Health: Dialogues on Climate-Health Connections
How are our current environmental crises connected with human health and well-being, and what deeper societal norms and values are driving the injustices we see in these realms today? Through a series of events with speakers from across campus and the Greater Boston area, we will hold space for MIT students, staff, and faculty to engage in reflective conversations about the cultural, spiritual, and emotional aspects of global environmental change. In a roundtable-style atmosphere, we will explore the ability of dialogue to foster a collective culture of interconnectedness and ecological consciousness at MIT, creating connections across academic or extracurricular siloes that can encourage more interdisciplinary climate action.

Co-sponsored by the MIT Morningside Academy for Design, the Priscilla King Gray Public Service Center, and the Planetary Health Alliance.
