Looking Forward and Back

We here at Radius will be taking some time off this summer for rest and renewal, but with our eyes towards September and the new academic year. As we do this, we also reflect back on the year as we write and publish our annual report.

When we're in the midst of it, the year seemingly flies by and it's a challenge to take a step back and see the whole picture; maybe it's impossible. That's why I cherish this time. It affords us the opportunity to carefully review what we've done--the conversations we've nurtured, the discussions we've encouraged and in which we've participated, the plays we've attended, the films we've screened, the incredibly gifted students, staff and faculty with whom we work, the array of topics, and speakers whom we hosted.

It was a year full of learning, discovering and--always here at MIT--amazement. We are honored to be part of this community and look forward to a new year of discernment and reflection. We thank all of you who help us on this journey.
